Christmas Decor

I don’t usually decorate for Christmas until Thanksgiving day. It makes me so happy to pull out all the decorations at the end of the day and start putting them up while everyone is there together. But this year I started a tad early and put up just one tiny tree a few weeks earlier than usual. I did this for 3 reasons; 1. who doesn’t need a little extra holiday cheer a little extra early?!  2.  I got a new flocked tree and it seemed silly NOT to put it up!  3. I bought Mackenzie Childs ornaments on sale after Christmas last year and the suspense was kiilllling me.

SO…one tree is up. And it’s festive as can be and I only need about 6 more to feel like the house is “Christmas ready”. Just kidding. Sort of.

I try to buy a few new things each year since my Christmas decor inventory is not at capacity yet. Here are a few of the things on my wish list this year, including the flocked tree I just bought!

I plan on adding a few ornaments every year to my Mackenzie Childs collection. I love to buy sets because you get a little more bang for your buck. Of course, a star is a MUST on top of a tree, and this penguin isn’t technically an ornament, but he is so dang dapper, I NEED him!

These West Elm finds are so cute. I love a clean simple look.

How fun would this little tree be on the front porch with the pop of red ornaments!

Who doesn’t love a Advent calendar? I’ve got you covered …

One for your baby, your lady, and your man

A good welcome mat is a must!

Happy decorating! Check back on my Instagram stories next week to see the rest of my decor go up.
