It has been raining a lot here in Texas and today the temperature finally dropped! It was only 71 degrees at one point which is a HUGE change from the triple digit temps. I realize it’s not really *cold*, but that didn’t stop me from pulling out my boots and sweaters!
I think the easiest way to transition into fall when it’s still fairly hot out, is to start with warm fall colors. You don’t HAVE to wear chunky sweaters to pull off a fall look. And remember, layers !! This is the time of year that tricks us by being breezy in the morning and then boiling by noon!
I have been wearing this dark green tank dress with sandals and it transitioned perfectly once I paired it with boots and my favorite yellow clutch!
I haven’t gotten a lot of wear out of the boots quite yet, but they are so comfortable to wear and the heel is the perfect height, so I’m sure they will be on repeat once the temps start staying low!
This fringe sweater is sooo much fun! It’s slightly cropped so it would look really cute with a pair of high-waisted dark wash jeans too. These earrings sold out crazy fast, but I have linked a few very similar options that are just as eye catching!
