September is here!! Honestly my favorite month of the year! I love that it’s still summer but all the fun fall stuff is coming out (looking at you pumpkin spice!), there is always a last minute getaway planned, my daughter and I both have September birthdays, and it’s the kickoff month for all the best holidays! But before we get on with September, I wanted to look back on August and share some of my favorites…
This is a trend I’ve been crushing on for awhile so when I saw these for under $30 I knew it was a must purchase. They make pretty much any outfit feel glam and they are already connected so you don’t have to worry about 3 separate clasps to fuss with. (I’ll link the rest of this outfit as well for y’all)
Collagen is known to improve the elasticity of your skin and these little pink tablets make it so easy and fun. Drop one in 8 oz of water and tada! You have a fizzy pink beauty drink! I noticed an improvement in the hydration of my skin after using them every day and it’s such an easy thing to incorporate into my routine, so I will definitely be buying them again.
This is the most versatile dress that absolutely everyone should own. It’s crazy comfy and can be dressed up, down, or in between (blog post featuring it styled 3 ways coming soon!) I chose the dark green color because I thought it would be cute for the fall, but it comes in soooo many colors. I love it styled this way with blush pink sneakers and backpack. Perfect for running errands or anything casual.
I am obsessed with this mustard color for fall! It’s such a fun bag and the perfect size for going out for a dinner date night. The material feels so nice and the price can’t be beat! It also comes in a hot pink color that is equally gorgeous.
CaseApp is a website where you can completely customize your own phone case or laptop skin. I had a ton of fun designing mine and ended up with probably 6 different designs before landing on this one. Options range from uploading your own art/pictures, using their clipart, or even purchasing one of their beautifully pre-designed options.
This speaker has amazing sound quality which is perfect for all of our Taylor Swift dance parties …but I’m most excited about the google assistant it’s enabled with! A full blog post about this device is coming soon!!
I will be the first to admit I am lash obsessed. If I’m going to skip things in my makeup routine, it’s never going to be my lashes! I’ve had lash extensions several times before and I’ve had good and bad experiences. This experience was definitely in my top 3! I’ve had them in over 2 weeks now and they still look great! They are holding up so well and I have only lost a few! A full set is kind of pricey, but if you’re going to get lashes you should really spurge, otherwise it’s not worth it because the cheap ones will fall out in less than a week.
I picked up this mascara at the beginning of the month before my extensions. “Better Than False Lashes” is a 3 step processes. You start with the larger tube which is like a traditional mascara, then follow it up with the smaller white tube while your lashes are still wet. This step is small fibers that stick to your lashes. I like to focus on the ends of my lashes for length.
