I have mixed feelings about July being over…first of all it was a tough month. We had so much work done on the house and it hasn’t all been hired out. A lot of it was with my own two hands and to be perfectly honest…home renovation is not exactly my calling in life. Also, I’ve got far more exciting things coming up in August, September, and October than July had to offer…a trip to Key West, Saige starting school, mine and Saige’s birthdays, my best friend’s wedding, and Disney World!
On the other side, July being over means we’re that much closer to the end of summer. And I love summer. Adore summer. I 100% believe God created me to live somewhere where it is summer year round (Hawaii maybe? #takemeback!)
I’ve rounded up all the items I’ve been crushing on this month so you can shop them too!
I have been lusting after this sofa for over a year now, but I couldn’t buy it while we were in Hawaii because it wouldn’t ship there. As soon as we moved back to TX, it was one of my very first home purchases. I already have the Emmerson dining table and bench and it’s beautiful too. Now I am convinced I need the entire collection! Too much? It is unfortunately out of stock now, but keep checking West Elm’s site for restocks!
I have been on a real tropical leaf print lately and also ready to mix up my throw pillow situation on my new sofa. These cute little slipcovers are a soft velvet, the colors are vivid, and you can’t beat the price! I bought the smallest size and they fit perfectly over some pillows I already had.
I originally saw this cactus hook on pinterest and knew I had to have it. I thought I would put it in our bathroom as a little towel hook, but I ended up loving it so much that I put it by the front door so it would be more visible.
Again with the tropical leaf vibes! I am so excited for this planner. I hope to use it in conjunction with my agenda. It’s basically a type a fantasy with page for every day that includes a to do list, daily objective and timetables!
I bought this back in May when I was a bridesmaid in a wedding. It worked great, but I didn’t really use it again until recently when Texas temps started soaring into the triple digits. This spray is amazing! It’s the only reason every drop of makeup doesn’t sweat off when I’m outside.
I am lash obsessed. I love getting extensions, but honestly I don’t have the time to go in for the fills as often as it’s needed. These false lashes are so gorgeous and I think they are the perfect mix of glam and natural.
TesseMae’s Green Goddess Dressing
If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen me post about this dressing a few times in my stories. It’s 100% not a sponsored post, I just love it that much! It’s amazing on an arugula salad with pistachios and freshly ground pepper.
HEB’s Chocolate Hummus
First of all, if you don’t have an HEB, I’m sorry. It is my all time favorite grocery store of the 4 states I have lived in. BUT, I’m pretty sure other grocery stores carry this fantastic dessert hummus. If you haven’t tried it yet, run out and get some now! It is sooo delicious! I love dipping strawberries in it!
I often repeat outfits, but this one has been worn AT LEAST once a week. It’s just so easy to throw on and immediately look put together. Plus it’s comfy and it has pockets!
I picked up these gold hoops at JCrew on sale and have barely worn anything else. They are simple, classic, and glam at the same time. And a great price!
These shorts are giving me life! I love the silky satin material, the sparkly elastic waist, and the pink/green color combo is so perfect!
If you have young children you NEED to let them watch thes Netflix Original show. It is so adorable even I like watching it. Saige has been completely obsessed with it. We were even able to find Puffin Rock books which are perfect for the days she’s not getting screen time but still needs her Puffin Rock fix!
